The Braxton Lee Homestead property is easily accessed by State Highway 12 which runs north and south along the Cumberland River between Nashville and Clarksville, Tennessee. Also adjacent to State Highway 49 that runs east and west between Robertson and Dickson counties, the Homestead is situated to benefit many people in the Middle Tennessee area especially Nashvillians and its many visitors. The actual mileage from Nashville’s downtown Music City Center is 24 miles. This 24 mile stretch of four lane highway between Ashland City and Nashville is one of the last truly bucolic routes connecting the state’s capital and our smaller sister city.

Braxton Lee’s Homestead stands on the hilltop just south of Tennessee Waltz Parkway on Highway 12 South in Ashland City, Tennessee. The historic home overlooks a beautiful valley of the Cumberland River at the mouth of Marrowbone Creek. Coming into Ashland City from Nashville on Hwy 12 S, the waters of Marrowbone Creek is on your left and the Homestead is on a hill on your right overlooking the early 1900s railroad trestle that you see as you come into Ashland City.
